The dwarsligger® is an innovation from Jongbloed, the Netherlands’ premier printer, binder and publisher of high- quality Bibles, and publishers NDC/VBK, the leader in the country’s consumerbook market. Marketing agency Branddoctors – which has aided companies like Philips and Heineken in positioning and launching new product lines – has tested the concept at length with booksellers and consumers. Both groups reacted with overwhelming enthusiasm. The environmental impact is significantly reduced since the dwarsligger® is six times smaller than a ‘normal’ book, and it’s printed on FSC-certified paper.

Incredibly handy
Its small size – 12 x 8 centimeters/4.7 x 3.1 inches – and light weight – on average less than 145 grams / 5.11 ounces – mean you can even read the dwarsligger® holding it in one hand.
